'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane celebrates his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is presently halfway through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the first major achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he once was, and would definitely think about prolonging his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
